Arizona
Arizona attracted 61,688 retirees while 38,173 left, resulting in a net gain of 23,515 retirees. The state’s population aged 60+ is 1,838,642, making up 25.0% of the total population. Its warm climate and scenic landscapes continue to draw in retirees.
South Carolina
South Carolina welcomed 40,663 retirees and saw 19,768 leave, leading to a net gain of 20,895 retirees. At 1,376,023, the state’s seniors are 26.0% of its population.
