Younger Americans View Socialism More Favorably Than Capitalism

In the 65+ age group, 3% have a very positive view, and 25% have a somewhat positive view, resulting in a net positive view of 28%. Regarding capitalism, 33% have a very positive view, and 40% have a somewhat positive view, making the net positive view 73%.

Women view socialism more favorably than men. For women, 6% have a very positive view, and 32% have a somewhat positive view, making the net positive view 38%. Regarding capitalism, 15% of women have a very positive view, and 34% have a somewhat positive view, leading to a net positive view of 48%.
